Priprema:

Luk nasjeckajte jako sitno, dodajte nasjeckanu mrkvu i blago propržite na ulju po izboru. Dodajte češnjak i pirjajte toliko da zamiriše. Dodajte pečenu papriku. Prepržite. Na to povrće dodajte umak od rajčice. Dodajte začine po želji: papar, sol, ljutu papriku, peršin, bosiljak, timijan, origano.

Ostavite da se sve fino pržina laganoj vatri dok ne dobijete gust umak, nekih 15-ak minuta. Za to vrijeme očistite i narežite povrće na istu debljinu kako bi se moglo lijepo slagati u okrugli lim. Stavite umak na dno lima, pa naizmjenično poredajte povrće u spiralu preko njega.

Prelijte malo ulja preko, pa stavite začinskih trava što vam je preostalo, zajedno s još nekoliko režnjeva češnjaka. Pokrijte folijom i pecite na laganoj temperaturi, oko 150°C između sat i sat i pol. Otkrijte foliju i pecite na malo jačoj temperaturi još 45 minuta (oko 175°C). Poslužite kao samostalno vegetarijansko jelo ili kao prilog pečenju.
